THE WESLEY COMMUNITY TO HOST “FINANCIAL STRATEGIES FOR SENIORS” SEMINAR FEATURING RENOWNED PERSONAL FINANCE COMMENTATOR RAY MARTIN

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Wesley Community today announced it will host a “Financial Strategies for Seniors” seminar featuring renowned personal finance commentator Ray Martin at Woodlawn Commons at The Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, NY on Wednesday, September 16 at 6 p.m.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ray Martin for an event that will provide invaluable financial advice for seniors from throughout the Capital Region,” said J. Brian Nealon, CEO of The Wesley Community. “Martin is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on personal finance and The Wesley Community is grateful to present this opportunity.”

Martin is the founder of Saratoga Springs financial services firm Crescent Hill Partners LLC and has appeared regularly on CBS Evening News, The Early Show, The Today Show, MSNBC, the Oprah Winfrey Show and more. His seminar will cover various personal finance topics including the current state of the market and the suitability of financial products for seniors.

Martin has provided financial counseling and advice to successful individuals, families, and senior executives of Fortune 500 companies for 25 years. He has experience in financial planning, taxes, insurance, and benefit and compensation plans.

He has served as a delegate selected by the White House at the Second National Summit on Retirement Savings held in Washington D.C.  and is the author of two books: “Your Financial Guide – Advice for Every Stage of Your Life,“ and “The Rookie’s Guide to Money Management.”

Martin serves on the board of The Wesley Foundation and is Chairman of the Board for MedAvante Inc., a private company that works to improve drug trial testing in the pharmaceutical industry.
