DUNKIN’ DONUTS & BASKIN-ROBBINS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TO HOLD 2nd ANNUAL UPSTATE NY DUNKIN’ CUP GOLF TOURNAMENT

Proceeds to benefit Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northeastern New York Chapter

MECHANICVILLE, New York; – The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation today announced it will hold the Second Annual Upstate New York Dunkin’ Cup Golf Tournament and Benefit Dinner on Monday, June 15 at The Fairways of Halfmoon in Mechanicville, NY.

Proceeds from the event will equally benefit the Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation (DDBRCF) and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), Northeastern New York chapter.

“We are thrilled to announce the return of the Upstate New York Dunkin’ Cup Golf Tournament,” said Eric Stensland, field marketing manager for Dunkin’ Donuts. “The inaugural event was a tremendous success and we’re excited to raise critical funds for two impactful community organizations.”

In 2014, the Dunkin’ Cup Golf Tournament generated $80,000 in its inaugural year which benefitted the Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation and the Cohoes Connect Center for Youth.

Foursomes are currently available exclusively for partnership underwriters of the charitable tournament.

The event will include an awards dinner as well as a live and silent auction.

Individual golf-only registration will open on the event website on April 1.

Founded in 2006, DDBRCF is dedicated to serving the basic needs of the local communities through children’s health, hunger relief and safety. Since 2006, together with Dunkin’ Brands franchisees, The DDBRCF has awarded more than $8 million in grants to local charities such as food banks and children’s hospitals.

The mission of the CFF is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives. The CFF is a nonprofit donor-supported organization dedicated to attacking cystic fibrosis from every angle. The CFF’s focus is to support the development of new drugs to fight the disease, improve the quality of life for those with cystic fibrosis, and ultimately to find a cure.
