ITHACA, New York; – Dunkin’ Donuts today announced it will host a trio of community building events in Ithaca with Mayor Svante Myrick and Police Chief John Barber throughout the month of April. “Coffee with the Mayor and Chief” will provide an opportunity for Ithaca residents to meet Mayor Myrick and Chief Barber, ask questions and voice concerns over a cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.
“Coffee with the Mayor and Chief” will take place at the following time and Dunkin’ Donuts locations:
- 408 Elmira Road – Wednesday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- 205 South Meadow Street – Wednesday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- 408 Elmira Road – Wednesday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Mayor Myrick took office in January 2012 at age 24 to become one of the youngest mayors in United States history. Chief Barber, a lifelong Ithaca resident, began his career as a rookie police officer at the Ithaca Police Department and rose through the ranks to the department’s top post in June 2013.
