Open House at The Wesley Community on Friday, May 15
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Wesley Community will showcase its highly-regarded enriched and independent living programs at Woodlawn Commons for seniors and their families during an open house on Friday, May 15 from 2 to 6 p.m. Open house will be held at Woodlawn Commons on The Wesley Community campus in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Prospective residents are invited to meet the staff and current residents, tour the apartments, and learn more about the care, education, and lifestyle enhancement programs available at Woodlawn Commons. All attendees are eligible to receive a $50 Hannaford gift card.
The Wesley Community’s enriched and independent living programs provide a supportive environment that can be tailored to meet the needs of each member. The stylish and efficient apartments offer residents the comforts of home combined with the support and services offered by The Wesley Community’s professional staff.
Residents in the enriched living program enjoy three prepared meals a day, housekeeping and laundry services, scheduled transportation, medication assistance, enhanced security and additional care determined by their individual needs.
“Our experienced, professional staff of elder care specialists works with each of our enriched living residents to develop a routine that meets their individual wishes while daily supervision allows us to consistently assess their evolving needs,” said Sharon O’Sullivan, RN program coordinator of enriched living. “We can easily adapt to their changing lifestyle to offer further assistance when necessary. Through around-the-clock care, we provide families the comfort of knowing their loved ones receive the attention they deserve.”
Residents in the independent living program enjoy an experience similar to their private home, but with added amenities and no maintenance responsibilities.
During the open house, visitors will have the opportunity to view the apartments as well as the extensive amenities available at Woodlawn Commons, including spacious outdoor patios, a comfortable dining room, exercise facility, on-site beauty salon and country store, cozy great rooms and a library with a fireplace. Visitors will also learn about the numerous social, cultural, educational, and exercise programs organized by Woodlawn Commons and designed to meet the physical, social, and spiritual needs of each resident.
In addition to enriched and independent living, visitors to the open house will be able to learn more about the other levels of care provided through The Wesley Community, including long-term care, outpatient therapies, short-term rehabilitation, and the Evergreen Adult Day Services, a comprehensive and supervised day program for seniors.
