ALBANY, N.Y.–Northeastern Fine Jewelry, known for its innovative holiday offerings, today announced a partnership with Capital Region craft brewery Shmaltz Brewing Company in celebration of Father’s Day.
Customers who spend $129 at Northeastern Fine Jewelry from Sunday, June 1 through Saturday, June 14 will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to the brewery’s Hoppy Father’s Day party on Sunday, June 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. Patrons will also take home two of the craft brewer’s most popular selections: one six-pack each of Shmaltz Brewing Company’s Genesis Dry Hopped Session Ale and Messiah Nut Brown Ale.
The Hoppy Father’s Day party will feature Shmaltz’s selection of He’brew craft beers, a spread of comfort food and live music from the High Peaks Band. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Terrapin Brewing Company Brewmaster Spike Buckowski.
In lieu of the Father’s Day party, the voucher can be redeemed for a tasting for two and a tour at the Clifton Park brewery, in addition to the pair of popular six-packs. Vouchers expire January 1, 2015.
Craft beer has gained tremendous traction and popularity amongst consumers in recent years. According to Sports Business Journal, the U.S. currently has more than 2,500 operating breweries and more than 1,600 are being developed, with nearly all considered craft brewers.

The Father’s Day package is available at Northeastern Fine Jewelry’s store locations at 1575 Western Avenue in Albany and 1607 Union Street in Schenectady.
Vouchers must be presented at Shmaltz Brewing Company, 6 Fairchild Square in Clifton Park, for admission to the Father’s Day party (or tour and tasting) and to redeem the selections of craft beer. The tasting room is open Wednesday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
