MAZZONE HOSPITALITY TO LAUNCH PARTNERSHIP WITH ITALIAN TRADE COMMISSION, MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE

All seven Mazzone Hospitality restaurants to feature special menus highlighting authentic Italian products from January 23 – March 18

CLIFTON PARK, New York; – Mazzone Hospitality today announced a new partnership with the Italian Trade Commission and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture to highlight authentic Italian products and ingredients at its seven restaurants throughout the Capital Region.

Beginning January 23, each Mazzone Hospitality restaurant will feature a prix-fixe menu specially curated in consultation with the Italian Trade Commission on a rotating weekly basis. The menus will showcase DOP (Denominazione d’Origine Protetta) and IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) foods – designations which ensure the origin and quality of the products – native to a specific region of Italy.

Guests are invited to go on a “tour of Italy” by enjoying all seven specialty menus at each participating restaurant. Individuals who complete their tour of Italy by receiving stamps for each menu on their “Angelo’s Tour of Italy” passport will receive a Mazzone Hospitality gift card valued at $250.

“Mazzone Hospitality is thrilled to partner with the Italian Trade Commission and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture to bring these extraordinary products to our guests in the Capital Region. It has been outstanding to work with these two organizations who share our commitment to providing the highest-quality food, wine and hospitality,” said Mazzone Hospitality Owner Angelo Mazzone. “There is no comparison to authentic Italian food and wine, and we are honored to showcase these ingredients at our restaurants. We look forward to inviting our guests to enjoy these delicious meals while learning more about how to identify DOP and IGP products, and what makes them so special.”
