HANNAFORD AND VALLEYCATS TO HOST FOOD DRIVE JULY 26

Fans who bring three non-perishable food items to the game on July 26 will receive a free ticket voucher

TROY, N.Y. – Hannaford Supermarkets and the Tri-City ValleyCats will team up to support hunger relief efforts during a food drive at the home game against the Connecticut Tigers on Friday, August 26 at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. The collection will begin when gates open at 6 p.m. The game starts at 7 p.m.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to The Food Pantries for the Capital District. The collection will take place in the plaza area in front of the stadium’s main gate.

Fans who bring at least three non-perishable food items will receive one voucher redeemable for a free ticket to either that evening’s game or a Tri-City ValleyCats home game during the 2019 season (based on availability). The voucher may be redeemed at the ValleyCats box office.

“Hannaford is committed to fighting hunger within the communities we serve and we are honored to partner with the Tri-City ValleyCats on this initiative,” said Hannaford Supermarkets Community Relations Specialist Brian Fabre. “We encourage baseball fans to join us for a night of action on the field while supporting The Food Pantries for the Capital District.”
