Dunkin’ franchisee Westside Donut Ventures to Host Donation Drive for Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York

As a continuation of the partnership established at the recent grand reopening celebration of its restaurant at 561 Columbia Turnpike in East Greenbush, Dunkin’ franchisee Westside Donut Ventures will host a special one-day donation drive to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

Volunteers will be collecting donations from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the Dunkin’ located at 561 Columbia Turnpike in East Greenbush. For this donation drive only, the first 75 guests to donate a minimum of $10 will receive a $10 Dunkin’ gift card. Donations can be made in cash or by using a QR code available on-site for electronic donations. Limit of one gift card per person.

Dunkin’ franchise Westside Donut Ventures previously donated $3,000 to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, commemorating the official reopening of its newly remodeled East Greenbush location on Nov. 9, 2023. The donation drive is an extension of their commitment to support the local organization.

Each year, Westside Donut Ventures holds a monthlong charitable campaign encouraging guests to give back to the Regional Food Bank by rounding up their bill or making monetary donations at numerous Dunkin’ restaurants in the greater Capital Region. Since 2020, Westside has raised $134,000 or the equivalent of 536,000 meals for the Regional Food Bank, which provides food to families in need across upstate New York. Every $1 donated results in four meals.

The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York is a nonprofit organization that collects donated food from the food industry and distributes it to nearly 900 charitable agencies feeding our neighbors in need throughout 23 counties of northeastern New York. The food provided by the Regional Food Bank helps to feed over 350,000 people each month.
