Dunkin’ celebrates grand reopening of South Glens Falls restaurant with Adirondack Thunder

Dunkin’ invited families and the Adirondack Thunder to celebrate the grand reopening of its restaurant at 95 Saratoga Ave. in South Glens Falls on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Forward TJ Friedmann and defenseman Brendan Less from the ECHL North Division-leading Thunder signed autographs and took photos with fans. Guests also enjoyed Dunkin’ merchandise giveaways and a special VIP offer for $0.99 any size Iced Tea.

Local dignitaries commemorated the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the players and representatives from The Burke Companies, who is the restaurant’s franchise network.

“We all need a little break every once in a while, and our new and improved Dunkin’ is a great place to take that time to recharge,” said Dunkin’ Franchisee and Chief Operating Officer at The Burke Companies Tom Burke III. “The Adirondack Thunder are having a terrific season, and they have been wonderful partners during the relaunches of our restaurants. We thank all those who joined us during winter recess to enjoy some time with their favorite players.”

Friedmann has four goals and an assist this season while Less has eight assists. The Thunder lead the North Division with a 32-11-4-2 (70 points) record and host the Reading Royals this Friday and Saturday at Cool Insuring Arena at 7 p.m.

Dunkin’s newly remodeled restaurant is 2,100 square feet and employs 17 crew members. It features Dunkin’s new restaurant design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:

  • Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
  • Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system featuring eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
  • Dunkin’ on Demand: Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups, so that members of the Dunkin’ Rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before.
