Dunkin’ Franchisee to Host Donation Drive for Mended Little Hearts

As a continuation of the partnership established at the recent grand reopening celebration of its restaurant at 601 New Scotland Ave. in Albany, Dunkin’ franchisee Prudencio Networks will host a special one-day donation drive for Mended Little Hearts in advance of Valentine’s Day. Volunteers from Mended Little Hearts will be collecting cash donations inside the Dunkin’ on New Scotland Ave. from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10. For this donation drive only, the first 50 guests to donate a minimum of $10 will receive a $10 Dunkin’ gift card. There is a limit of one gift card per person.

Prudencio Networks previously donated $3,000 to Mended Little Hearts in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, commemorating the official reopening of its newly remodeled restaurant last November. The donation drive is an extension of Prudencio Networks’ commitment to support the nonprofit’s local chapter.

“We are happy to take our donation a step further by asking our wonderful guests to participate in the donation drive,” said Dunkin’ Franchisee Lucia Prudencio. “This is our way to help an organization close to our hearts this Valentine’s Day.”

Mended Little Hearts is a nonprofit organization that provides care kits and support to kids battling congenital heart disease and their families. Albany Chapter representatives will be running the donation drive and collecting donations for patients in the Albany area.
