Residents who live and work in Nassau County can experience Dunkin’s next generation store design with the grand reopening of its newly remodeled restaurant at 2885 Long Beach Rd. in Oceanside on Friday, May 17. Guests will enjoy giveaways and free merchandise from 9 a.m. to noon.
To celebrate the grand reopening, Dunkin’ is offering Free Coffee for a Year to the first 100 guests in line at the restaurant beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 17*. Free Coffee for a Year Giveaway recipients receive a coupon book containing four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months, good only at the Dunkin’ at 2885 Long Beach Rd. in Oceanside. The coupon books will be distributed beginning at 10 a.m.
Dunkin’ franchisee FRJ Oceanside Donuts will commemorate the occasion with a $3,000 donation to Long Island Cares, Inc. in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Long Island Cares is a nonprofit utilizing multiple avenues of donations and education to fight food insecurity on Long Island. Long Island Cares supports more than 374 community-based agencies through food donations to area food pantries, soup kitchens, child care programs and more.
“We are excited to unveil this innovative new restaurant to Nassau County residents and the Oceanside community,” said Dunkin’ franchisee Rizwan (Rocky) Sheikh. “Additionally, we are proud to support Long Island Cares with this $3,000 donation in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, and to underscore the importance of an organization that is dedicated to fighting food insecurity on Long Island.”
The check presentation to Long Island Cares, Inc. and grand reopening ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m.
Dunkin’ Rewards members, and those who sign up for Dunkin’ Rewards, will have the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for free merchandise, including Dunkin’ cups, pens and cinch bags, beginning at 10 a.m., while supplies last.
The 1,500-square-foot Dunkin’ employs approximately 15 crew members is now open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Oceanside Dunkin’ features the brand’s new restaurant design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:
- Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
- Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now available through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
- Dunkin’ on Demand: With fully-integrated digital kiosks coming in the near future, guests will be able to choose to order with or without the help of a crew member. Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups, so that members of the Dunkin’ Rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before.
- Increased Energy Efficiency: The new Dunkin’ is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.
- Faster Than Ever Drive-Thru Experience: An exclusive On-the-Go drive-thru lane will let Dunkin’ Rewards members who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App bypass the ordering lane and head straight into the line for the pickup window.
