DUNKIN’ ANNOUNCES RETURN OF ‘ICED COFFEE DAY’ TO THE CAPITAL REGION

$1 from every cup of Iced Coffee sold on August 26 to benefit the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med

ALBANY, New York; August 20, 2020 – Dunkin’ is inviting Capital Region residents to enjoy a cool beverage while giving back to the community during its annual Iced Coffee Day. On Wednesday, August 26, $1 from every cup of Iced Coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in the Capital Region will directly benefit the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med.

Since its inception in 2012, Iced Coffee Day has generated more than $245,000 for the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med.

“Dunkin’ is thrilled to celebrate the return of Iced Coffee Day to the Capital Region,” said Dunkin’ Field Marketing Manager Eric Stensland. “We encourage Capital Region residents to enjoy their favorite Dunkin’ Iced Coffee while supporting such a wonderful local organization that does so much for the families in our community.”

The Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med is a 125-bed facility devoted exclusively to the medical needs of infants, children and adolescents and is the referral center for all seriously ill and injured children from 25 counties in upstate New York and western New England.  It is staffed by 140 physicians trained in 40 subspecialties and more than 400 pediatric nurses, therapists, social workers and child life specialists.
