Cardona’s Market – the family-owned Italian specialty foods market and catering company serving the Capital Region since 1945 – is excited to announce the rollout of three new t-shirt designs, featuring the shop’s celebrated history and popular menu.
Cardona’s currently features an array of branded short and long-sleeve tees, onesies for babies, tote bags, dual-temp coolers and warming totes (for hot dishes). The fresh lineup of tees complements its merchandise offerings by touting bold, creative designs, including one featuring a caricature of “Uncle Victor” Cardona, brother of Augusto, the market’s patriarch. The trio of new designs includes:
- Cardona’s “The Big D” specialty sandwich is the first to be featured in Cardona’s ‘Best-Selling Sandwiches’ Collector Edition Tees Series. The long-sleeved shirt ($27) and short-sleeved shirt ($22) features a fully assembled Big D Italian meats sandwich design on the front and a deconstructed “Big D” sandwich blueprint on the back.
- The Cardona’s Dinner Table T-shirt boldly adorned with “Vieni al Tavolo,” which translated means “Come to the Table.” The design features an artistic caricature image of a vegetable-themed cartoon couple sitting at the table ready to enjoy a platter of spaghetti and meatballs with a sketched image of Victor Cardona hanging on the wall. Available in both long- and short-sleeve for $25 and $20, respectively.
- The Uncle Victor T-shirt features a sketched portrait of Cardona’s very own Uncle Victor from 1945 titled “The OG of Grand Street,” based on an original hand-drawn likeness on display in the Albany store. Available in both long- and short-sleeve for $25 and $20, respectively.

Cardona’s Market is located at 340 Delaware Avenue in Albany; 9 Cobbee Road in Latham; and 222 Washington Street in Saratoga Springs. The Albany and Latham markets are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the Saratoga market is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. All three locations are open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
