Dunkin’ restaurants will offer Capital Region guests free samples of the new plant-based sandwich on Nov. 8 and 9
LATHAM, NEW YORK; – Players from the Adirondack Thunder made a special visit to the Dunkin’ restaurant in Latham, NY today to celebrate the nationwide launch of the new Beyond Sausage® Sandwich, which is now available at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in the Capital Region.
Adirondack Thunder defensemen Charlie Curti and Kelly Summers celebrated the official launch by handing out samples of the new plant-based sandwich at the Latham Dunkin’ restaurant.
The players were invited by Dunkin’ to help celebrate the national launch of the new Beyond Sausage® Sandwich, which offers guests a brand-new plant-based menu option with a great taste.

To give guests a chance to experience the great taste of this plant-based sausage for themselves, on Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., guests at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in the Capital Region are invited to enjoy a complimentary sample of the Beyond Sausage Sandwich, while supplies last.
The Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty features 10g of plant-based protein and is served on an English muffin with egg and American cheese. The Beyond Sausage Sandwich has 29% less total fat, 33% less saturated fat and fewer calories, cholesterol and sodium than a traditional Dunkin’ Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich on an English muffin.
An affiliate of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, the Adirondack Thunder plays home games at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls, NY. The Thunder’s next home game is Friday, November 8 vs. the Worcester Railers. Faceoff is 7 p.m.
