ADIRONDACK THUNDER HONORING MEN AND WOMEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT

The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, will honor those who protect our communities during the annual Law Enforcement Night presented by the Warren, Washington, Rensselaer, and Saratoga County Sheriff Departments on Saturday, March 9 in the Cool Insuring Arena.

ECHL North Division-leading Adirondack will face the Maine Mariners (Boston Bruins) in special sheriff-inspired jerseys that will be auctioned live after the game with proceeds supporting the New York State Sheriff’s Summer Camp. The first 1,000 fans age 14 and younger will receive a youth jersey giveaway as well. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the puck drops at 7 p.m.

“There have been a lot of special moments so far this season and there will be more, but a chance to take a moment and thank those who protect us every day is going to be right near the top,” said Adirondack Thunder President Jeff Mead.

The Thunder lead the ECHL North with a 34-13-4-3 record (75 points) as well as in attendance with 110,565 fans coming to 27 home games so far this season. The team is nearing a fourth-straight and 11th sell-out this season with only Standing Room Tickets available for Saturday. After two road games next weekend, the Thunder return home on Wednesday, March 20 against the Worcester Railers (New York Islanders) to start a six-game homestand.

“Our fans have created a home-ice advantage that is unmatched in our division, for sure, and probably the entire ECHL,” said Mead. “The environment in the Arena this season is magical.”

Fans can also enjoy $4 Bud Light beer specials presented by Saratoga Eagle during Saturday’s game.

With the playoffs looming, tickets for the rest of the Thunder home games this season are going fast, but are still on sale. For more information on ticket packages, call 518-480-3355 or visit ECHLThunder.com.
