NYRA ANNOUNCES GROWING LIST OF SARATOGA SEASON PERKS PARTICIPANTS

Season pass and season ticket plans currently on sale; holders to benefit from newly expanded Saratoga Season Perks program

Saratoga Season Perks program includes guaranteed premium giveaways and discounts at 34 Saratoga Downtown Business Association retail, restaurant and professional services members

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. today announced the increasing list of participants included in the newly expanded Saratoga Season Perks Program, which features exclusive offers for 2016 Saratoga Race Course season pass and season ticket plan holders.

Season pass and season ticket plan holders will receive a series of benefits through the program, including the guarantee of a Saratoga premium giveaway on the day of the giveaway and special discounts at nearly three dozen retail, restaurant and professional services locations in downtown Saratoga Springs, amongst other benefits.

“We are thrilled with the response from our members and sincerely appreciate the efforts and outreach of the New York Racing Association to incorporate Saratoga businesses in its highly popular season pass program,” said Maddy Zanetti, vice-president of the Saratoga Downtown Business Association. “This program represents a true partnership which will benefit both our members and fans of New York racing who will receive discounts to numerous restaurants and retail outlets with their perks card or season pass to Saratoga Race Course.”

Full-season ticket plans and season admission passes for the 2016 meet at historic Saratoga Race Course are currently on-sale and may be purchased online through NYRA AccountManager.

Saratoga season pass and season plan holders will receive a 10 percent savings when they present their season pass or season perks card at any of the following Saratoga Downtown Business Association member locations, including: 2 West Bar and Grille; Boca Bistro; Bookmakers at the Holiday Inn; Bread Basket Bakery; BWP Local Grille; Celtic Treasures; Chianti Ristorante; Circus Café; Country Corner Café; Crafter’s Gallery; Cudney’s Cleaners; Druthers Brewing Co.; Feigenbaum Cleaners; Forno Tuscano Bistro; Fox Jewelers; G. Willikers; Impressions of Saratoga; Insurance Agency Group of New York LLC: Lifestyles of Saratoga; Mango Tree Imports; Northshire Bookstore; Prime at Saratoga National; Ravenous; Saratoga Guitar; Saratoga Sports Massage; Saratoga Springs History Museum; Saratoga Brewing Company; Savory Pantry; Scallions; Silverwood Home & Gallery; Spoken Boutique; Stinky Dog; Wheatfield’s Bistro and Wine Bar in Clifton Park; and Wheatfield’s Restaurant and Bar in Saratoga.

All participating partners will have on display a decal featuring the all-new Saratoga Season Perks logo, which will identify their participation in the program.

The discounts are available with an activated season pass or season perks card (applies to season-long reserved seat holders) beginning June 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017. Season pass holders who activate their season pass by May 15 will receive their card in time for the launch of the program. Activation instructions, including information on how to upload a digital photo, are available at NYRA.com/Saratoga.

Season ticket plan holders, which includes reserved seats and admission for all 40 days of the Saratoga racing season, will automatically receive an activated season perks card following their purchase.

Saratoga season pass and season plan holders will also receive a 10 percent savings to additional New York Racing Association partners as well as a robust offering of benefits on-track during the 2016 season, including:

  • Select classical series performances at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater engagements and full-priced amphitheater seats to evening performances of the Philadelphia Orchestra and New York City Ballet (excluding the Gala Fundraiser);
  • Numerous discounts on-track to Saratoga Race Course food, beverage and merchandise vendors;
  • Access to a special pre-sale for individual Saratoga Race Course reserved seat tickets;
  • Tri-City ValleyCats home baseball games, the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Houston Astros;
  • Select New York mountains and ski resorts, including Belleayre, Catamount, Gore, Plattekill and Whiteface during the 2016-17 winter season;
  • Siena College men’s and women’s home basketball games during the 2016-17 season.

In addition to the discounts and special savings available to season ticket plan and season pass holders, the newly expanded Saratoga Season Perks program also includes the guarantee of a premium Saratoga giveaway item on the day of the giveaway, so long as the season pass or season ticket plan holder is in attendance at Saratoga Race Course and redeems the giveaway item by 3 p.m. Redemptions will begin when gates open to the general public.

Full-season ticket plans and season admission passes for the 2016 meet at historic Saratoga Race Course are currently on-sale (based on availability). Full-season plans, which include reserved seats and admission for the full 40-day season, are available for purchase online through NYRA AccountManager utilizing the all-new Saratoga Virtual Venue seating map, enabling fans to digitally preview their seat location and sightlines before purchasing tickets.

A season pass provides fans with admission to 40 days of world-class thoroughbred racing at Saratoga Race Course, including the Grade 1, $1.25 million Travers on Saturday, August 27 and the Grade 1, $1.25 million Whitney on Saturday, August 6. A Grandstand season pass costs $35 and a Clubhouse season pass costs $55. Season passes do not include reserved seating and are valid for one admission. Season passes may be purchased through NYRA AccountManager.

Dining reservations for the 2016 season at one of Saratoga Race Course’s restaurants, including the Turf Terrace, Club Terrace and the Porch for the 2016 season, are also currently available and can be made by phone at (888) 516-6972. Reservations are based on availability and are non-transferable. Seating charge payment is required upon reservation; seating charges are final and non-refundable.

Additionally, full and partial hospitality space bookings for Saratoga Race Course are currently available for the following hospitality areas: At the Rail Pavilion; Luxury Suites (whole suite rentals only); Paddock Tent; Festival Tent; Big Red Spring Tent; and Top of the Stretch.
