This Thanksgiving, spend less time in the kitchen and more time around the table with family and friends. Cardona’s Market, the family-owned Italian specialty foods market and catering company serving the Capital Region since 1945, is taking the work and worry out of preparing Thanksgiving dinner with a delicious selection of holiday catering packages featuring all the traditional favorites, along with a few signature Italian specialties.
Whether hosting an intimate family gathering or a larger holiday celebration, Cardona’s Thanksgiving catering menu offers a convenient and delicious alternative to spending hours shopping, preparing and cooking. With fully cooked turkey, homemade sides and decadent desserts, Cardona’s handles the hard work so hosts can focus on what matters most – making memories with loved ones.
“Thanksgiving is all about spending quality time with family and friends, not spending the entire day in the kitchen,” said Cardona’s Co-Owner and Executive Chef Robert Cardona, Jr. “Our team takes pride in preparing a delicious, homemade Thanksgiving meal with all the traditional favorites and a little Cardona’s Italian flair. We do all the cooking and preparation so our customers can relax, enjoy the holiday and take all the credit for a great meal. All they have to do is heat, serve and enjoy.”
Cardona’s Thanksgiving catering menu features two complete holiday dinner packages, including a half-bird dinner serving six to eight people for $215 and a full-bird dinner serving 12 to 14 people for $425. Both packages feature carved turkey in au jus with homemade gravy, classic Thanksgiving sides, Cardona’s signature arancini and a choice of apple or pumpkin pie.
For those who prefer to customize their holiday feast, Cardona’s also offers fully cooked and carved turkeys, along with an assortment of à la carte sides. From traditional whipped potatoes and homemade stuffing to sweet potato soufflé and garlic green beans, guests can complement their own Thanksgiving traditions with delicious dishes prepared by Cardona’s culinary team.
All Thanksgiving catering orders must be placed by Friday, November 20, at 5 p.m., with convenient cold pickup available at Cardona’s Albany, Latham and Saratoga Springs markets on Wednesday, November 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reheating instructions are available on the Cardona’s website, making it easy to serve a freshly heated holiday meal without the hassle of preparing everything from scratch.
Guests are encouraged to place their Thanksgiving catering orders early by visiting catering.cardonasmarket.com or contacting Cardona’s Catering Director Jessica Evans at [email protected] or (518) 785-7480 ext. 1.
This year, Cardona’s will also offer a Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway to help support the local community. Guests are encouraged to nominate a Capital Region family in need for a chance to win a complimentary Thanksgiving Dinner (half bird) package that serves 6-8 people. Starting November 1, nominations can be discreetly submitted on Cardona’s website. Cardona’s will randomly select three families (one per market location in Albany, Latham and Saratoga) and reach out to coordinate pickup of the Thanksgiving package prior to the holiday.
Cardona’s Market features three convenient locations at 340 Delaware Avenue in Albany; 9 Cobbee Road in Latham; and 222 Washington Street in Saratoga Springs. The Albany and Latham markets are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the Saratoga market is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. All three locations are open on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
