Saratoga Springs, N.Y.– The Wesley Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, will host its annual gala at The Lodge at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Saturday, May 11 from 6 to 10 p.m.

Presented by the Adirondack Trust Company, the theme of this year’s event is “Sailing Into Summer,” which will invite attendees to enjoy an evening filled with excitement and elegance with a nautical flair. Guests are welcome to dress in cocktail or sailing-inspired attire.

Proceeds from the evening will support the continued renovations of the Springs Building at Wesley Health Care Center. This project will provide welcoming surroundings and home-like comforts for the long-term care residents who live at the Springs building.

“This year’s sailing- themed gala is assured to be a fun filled evening to support a great organization and raise funds that will make a real difference in the lives of the residents that the Wesley Health Care Center serves,” said Mike Munter, honorary chair of this year’s gala alongside his wife, Lisa.

“The gala is a key event to raise funds for important updates to Wesley Health Care Center,” said Lisa Munter. “We are honored to help organize the annual celebration and look forward to a great evening to commemorate The Wesley Community’s mission.”

Adirondack Trust Company recently presented a $10,000 donation to The Wesley Foundation in support of the 2019 gala.

“We are very pleased to support the gala, which will raise funds for the second phase of renovations to the Springs building at Wesley Health Care Center,” said Executive Vice President of Adirondack Trust Company Charles V. Wait, Jr. “We are equally pleased to once again serve as the presenting sponsor for this year’s event that will help raise needed funding for this project.”

Additional major sponsors for the gala are Marshall & Sterling Insurance, Angerame Architects, Saratoga Casino Hotel, The Fort Miller Group, Ray Martin & Crescent Hill Partners. Additional sponsors include AOW Associates, Bonacio Construction, Fine Affairs, Munter Enterprises, D.A. Collins Companies, Longfellows Inn and Restaurant, and Olde Bryan Inn. The gala committee chair is Wesley Foundation Board Member Timothy Busch.

“Wesley Health Care Center is home to many residents that have been an integral part in the Saratoga Springs community and beyond,” Busch said. “Having the opportunity to hold an event which raises funds to improve their lives is a great way to continue to celebrate the impact that they have made.”
