Open House at The Wesley Community on Friday, November 13
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.– The Wesley Community will showcase its highly-regarded enriched and independent living apartments for seniors during an open house at Woodlawn Commons on The Wesley Community campus in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The open house takes place on Friday, November 13 from 2 to 6 p.m.
Prospective residents are invited to meet the staff and current residents, tour the apartments, and learn more about the friendly, amenity-rich lifestyle available at Woodlawn Commons.
The tasteful and efficient apartments in the enriched living program offer residents the comforts of home combined with the support and services provided by Woodlawn Commons’ caring staff.
Residents in the enriched living program enjoy three prepared meals a day, housekeeping and laundry services, scheduled transportation, medication assistance, enhanced security and additional care determined by their individual needs.
“Our experienced, professional staff of elder care specialists works with each of our enriched living residents to develop a routine that meets their individual needs and wishes,” said Sharon O’Sullivan, RN program coordinator of enriched living. “We can easily adapt to their changing needs to offer further assistance when necessary. Our around-the-clock care provides families the comfort of knowing their loved ones receive the attention they deserve.”
Residents in the independent living program enjoy an experience similar to their private home, but with added amenities and no home maintenance responsibilities.
In addition to the apartments, visitors will have the opportunity to view other features of Woodlawn Commons, including spacious outdoor patios, a customer service oriented restaurant, a beauty salon, fitness room, and country store and cozy spots to socialize that include fireplaces. Visitors will also learn about the many social, cultural, educational, and exercise programs organized by Woodlawn Commons’ staff to meet the physical, social, and spiritual needs of each resident.
In addition to enriched and independent living at Woodlawn Commons, visitors to the open house will be able to learn more about the other levels of care provided by The Wesley Community, including long-term care, outpatient therapies, short-term rehabilitation, and Wesley Evergreen Adult Day Services, a comprehensive supervised day program for seniors.
