Event to feature sidewalk shopping, live music, family activities and more
GUILDERLAND, N.Y.– Shoppers are invited to celebrate the season in style with the return of the annual Stuyvesant Plaza Summer Market on Saturday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Plaza shops and restaurants will serve up sidewalk sales and food and beverage tastings throughout the day. The perfect weekend outing will feature family-friendly fun, live music, facepainting, balloon animals and giveaways at the Capital Region’s premier open-air retail destination.
Formerly known as the Stuyvesant Plaza Sidewalk Sale, the newly named event will this year observe its 53rd anniversary. In addition to all-day outdoor shopping and activities, local singer/songwriter Angelina Valente will perform from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Saratoga Springs musician ties threads of folk, bluegrass, indie and rock together into an authentic signature sound driven by her uninhibited voice and honest lyrics. Angelina performs throughout the Northeast and has recorded at the esteemed Village Studios in Los Angeles and Atlantic Records Studio in New York City.
