Stuyvesant Plaza to host final sidewalk sale of the season
ALBANY, N.Y., Monday, August 7, 2017 – Stuyvesant Plaza merchants will bring their goods outdoors during the outdoor shopping center’s final sidewalk sale of the season on Saturday, August 12. Stuyvesant Plaza will open at 9:30 a.m. to accommodate shoppers and will remain open until 6 p.m.
For more than 40 years, Stuyvesant Plaza has celebrated summer with two sidewalk sales, a tradition that remains a defining feature of the plaza. The first sidewalk sale took place in June.
“Each year, our customers look forward to our summer sidewalk sales, where they can enjoy a summer day while getting great discounts on unique items,” said Stuyvesant Plaza Vice President for Real Estate Janet Kaplan. “The shops, boutiques, and eateries at Stuyvesant Plaza love taking part in this annual tradition.”
Almost all of the retailers within the plaza take part in the sidewalk sale and will feature inventory that has been significantly reduced in price.
