ALBANY, N.Y. – Stuyvesant Plaza will usher in the most wonderful time of the year by welcoming shoppers to celebrate the season at the annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will mark the return of free festive carriage rides to Stuyvesant Plaza. The complimentary seasonal carriage rides will be offered each Saturday and Sunday of the holiday season (through December 22) from 1 to 4 p.m. The carriage rides will depart in front of Jean Paul Spa and Salons.

Additionally, shoppers at the Holiday Open House will enjoy complimentary gourmet hot chocolate from Saratoga Chocolate Company, while supplies last. Holiday décor and music will add to the festive atmosphere. The hot chocolate will be available in front of TA-DA! and Catherine’s.

Numerous shops and eateries at Stuyvesant Plaza will offer exclusive one-day specials for shoppers during the Holiday Open House. A complete list of specials and sales is available at

The event will also mark the official debut of this year’s holiday storefront window displays.

Stuyvesant Plaza is conveniently located at the corner of Western Avenue and Fuller Road in Albany. Hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. Restaurant, bank and post office hours may vary.
