STUYVESANT PLAZA ANNOUNCES UPCOMING OPENING OF THE PINK PADDOCK

Second Capital Region location for Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store anticipated to open in July 2014

ALBANY, N.Y. – Stuyvesant Plaza today announced that The Pink Paddock will open its second Capital Region location at the outdoor lifestyle shopping center in July 2014.

The Pink Paddock, a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store offering clothing and accessories, will take over the space formerly occupied by Justice. Approximately 12 new employees will be hired to staff the operation.

“The Pink Paddock is a perfect complement to the diverse array of stores and restaurants at Stuyvesant Plaza,” said Janet Kaplan, vice president of real estate for Stuyvesant Plaza. “We look forward to providing our patrons with a new luxury shopping experience this summer.”

The Stuyvesant Plaza store marks the second location for The Pink Paddock owners Kimberly Burton and Steven Snyder, who opened the original storefront on Broadway in Saratoga Springs in May 2005.

The 3,500 square foot location at Stuyvesant Plaza will offer the latest clothing and accessories by Lilly Pulitzer, Rebecca Ray, Kiel James Patrick, Vineyard Vines, Tommy Bahama, Cortland Park, Pink Pineapple, Kinross Cashmere and Lux Candles.

The Pink Paddock joins the numerous clothing retailers at Stuyvesant Plaza, including Ann Taylor LOFT, Beck Furs, Casual Set, Chico’s, Talbots, and White House Black Market, among others.
