More than 50-year tradition to resume on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8
ALBANY, NY – Stuyvesant Plaza merchants will once again bring their goods outdoors during the return of the lifestyle shopping center’s annual Summer Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, August 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 8 from 12 to 5 p.m.
The annual sale, which dates back more than 50 years, will welcome numerous shops to bring their merchandise outdoors for shoppers to enjoy an open-air shopping experience on the Plaza’s iconic sidewalks. Shops will also feature various specials and promotions during the event.
“We are thrilled to welcome shoppers back for our annual Summer Sidewalk Sale, which has become a beloved seasonal tradition amongst both our guests and merchants,” said Stuyvesant Plaza Vice President of Real Estate Janet Kaplan. “The sale is a great way for shoppers to enjoy a summer day outdoors and score great deals on merchandise from our outstanding shops.”
The Summer Sidewalk Sale was temporarily paused in 2020 due to social distancing protocols related to the Covid-19 pandemic. This summer marks the 51st edition of the event.
