SARATOGA RACE COURSE SEASON PASSES ON SALE MAY 30 AT SELECT STEWART’S SHOPS

Newly expanded Saratoga Season Perks take effect June 1 for all season pass and season plan holders

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. today announced that season admission passes for the 2016 meet at Saratoga Race Course will be available at more than 200 Stewart’s Shops locations throughout the greater Capital Region, Adirondacks and the Hudson Valley beginning Monday, May 30.

Season admission passes are also currently available for purchase online at NYRA.com/Saratogatickets.

Valid for each day of the upcoming season, the 2016 Grandstand season pass is available for $35 and the cost of a Clubhouse season pass is $55. A season pass provides fans with the opportunity to enjoy 40 days of world-class thoroughbred racing at Saratoga Race Course, including the Grade 1, $1.25 million Travers on Saturday, August 27 and the Grade 1, $1.25 million Whitney on Saturday, August 6. Season passes do not include reserved seating and are valid for one admission.

This marks the third consecutive year that Saratoga-based Stewart’s Shops will serve as the exclusive retail partner of the New York Racing Association for season passes to Saratoga Race Course. Season passes will be available at all Stewart’s Shops in Albany, Essex, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington counties. Saratoga Season Perks program to offer season- and year-long discounts beginning June 1

Season passes will go on sale at Stewart’s Shops two days prior to the start of the newly expanded Saratoga Season Perks program. Beginning Wednesday, June 1, all season pass holders who purchase and activate their season pass will be eligible for season- and year-long discounts at dozens of Saratoga merchants and restaurants as well as at select Saratoga Performing Arts Center classical performances For a complete list of participating Saratoga Season Perks partners, including on-track discounts, visit SaratogaSeasonPerks.com.

Participating retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues will have on display a decal featuring the Saratoga Season Perks logo, which will identify their participation in the program.

All season pass holders are required to provide a photo in order to activate their season pass. Activation instructions, including information on how to upload a digital photo, are available at SaratogaPassPhoto.com. Season passes are not transferable and will not admit anyone other than the named and identified holder on the card.

Season pass holders who purchase their season pass online at NYRA.com/Saratogatickets or in-person at Stewart’s Shops will receive their activated season pass by mail as long as they upload a photo by July 1. All pass holders who upload after the July 1 deadline will be required to pick up their season pass in person at the Saratoga Race Course Box Office on Union Avenue beginning Saturday, July 16. The box office will be closed on Tuesday, July 19 and will not process season passes during the opening weekend of the Saratoga meet, Friday, July 22 through Sunday, July 24.

Season pass holders will also for the first time be guaranteed a Saratoga premium giveaway item. The pass holder must be in attendance on the day of the giveaway at Saratoga Race Course and redeem the item by 3 p.m. Redemptions will begin when gates open to the general public.

Season ticket plan holders will receive the same benefits as season pass holders when they present their season perks card. Full-season ticket plans for the 2016 meet are currently on sale and may be purchased online atNYRA.com/Saratogatickets (based on availability). Full-season ticket plans include reserved seats for all 40 days of the meet plus admission.

Week-long ticket plans and daily reserved seats for the 2016 Saratoga racing season are also currently on sale. Information is available online at NYRA.com/Saratogatickets.
