A new chapter begins at Saratoga National as the beloved Prime restaurant unveils its reimagined identity: Heritage at Saratoga National.
Heritage at Saratoga National is where classic vibes meet a fresh, modern edge. Located on the 18th hole at Saratoga National Golf Club, this American contemporary destination brings together elevated flavors and an easygoing, welcoming feel—simply delicious food and great atmosphere. With vintage clubhouse energy reimagined through a stylish lens, guests can enjoy thoughtfully designed spaces, cozy outdoor fireplaces, and an environment suited for any occasion. The transformation reflects a thoughtful evolution—one that honors the location’s legacy while introducing a vibrant new energy.
Guests can expect a distinctive ambiance that blends vintage inspiration with updated design elements. The bar and lounge—long a guest favorite—has been expanded into the dining room to create a more relaxed, social atmosphere. “Everyone’s go-to spot is the bar and lounge; therefore, we wanted to make it larger,” said Tim Vennard, Vice President of Mazzone Hospitality. A more intimate fine dining area is now separated by a floor-to-ceiling curtain, allowing each space to offer its own unique experience. Every detail has been curated to accommodate everything from casual gatherings to memorable celebrations.
Adding to the significance of this transition, the founder and former owner of Mazzone Hospitality, Angelo Mazzone, reflected on the restaurant’s evolution and future.
“As the former owner and founder of Mazzone Hospitality, Prime at Saratoga National was one of the many restaurants we operated—but it was always one of my favorites. I spent a great deal of time there helping shape what has now become Heritage, and I’m incredibly proud of what this next chapter represents.”
Prime was originally created in 2012 as a premier, high-end dining experience at Saratoga National, and it quickly became a success. In 2020, the food and beverage operations at Saratoga National transitioned, with Mazzone Hospitality ultimately taking over and continuing the concept for several years. Over time, it became clear that the restaurant was ready for a new direction, and the Mazzone team has delivered exactly that. The transformation of the space is outstanding.

Menus are available at HeritageAtSaratogaNational.com and are led by Executive Chef Dan Beltran in collaboration with Brian Molino, Director of Culinary for Mazzone Hospitality. Beltran previously served as Executive Sous Chef at Salt & Char before joining Saratoga National in early 2025. Heritage is managed by Mazzone Hospitality.
Heritage will open for the season on Thursday, April 2. Dinner will be served Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will be closed Sunday through Tuesday. Beginning April 8, Heritage will offer lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, along with Sunday lunch from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Saratoga National Golf Club opens for the season on Friday, April 10.
