MAZZONE HOSPITALITY TO SERVE IOWA PREMIUM BLACK-ANGUS BEEF AT PREMIER STEAKHOUSES

Albany, N.Y. – Mazzone Hospitality today announced that Iowa Premium, which specializes in farming the highest-quality USDA Prime Black Angus beef in the country, will serve as the exclusive beef provider for its two premier steakhouses – Angelo’s 677 Prime in Albany and Prime at Saratoga National in Saratoga Springs.

Designed to provide a true farm-to-table experience, the family-farm raised Black Angus beef will now be featured on the menus at both restaurants. Iowa Premium is known for hand-selecting only corn-fed Black Angus cattle that exhibit superior quality characteristics resulting in outstanding flavor.

“Mazzone Hospitality is thrilled to bring this new offering to our steakhouses as we seek to elevate the dining experience for our guests who enjoy the highest-quality, most-flavorful and freshest beef available,” said Mazzone Hospitality Owner Angelo Mazzone. “This partnership with Iowa Premium establishes our commitment to serving quality beef that is grown and processed responsibly and sustainably.”

Iowa Premium is located in the heart of the Midwest, at a 200,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility in Tama, Iowa that meets the highest standards for food safety, quality assurance and sustainability. All Iowa Premium beef comes from cattle that have grazed on pastures for the majority of their lives then finished on a nutritionally-balanced, locally-sourced corn-based diet.

Corn-fed black Angus cattle have a proven track record of yielding beef with more marbling. Marbling, the flecks of fat within the meat, directly result in beef with exceptional flavor, tenderness and juiciness – all leading factors in a remarkable eating experience.

In addition to Angelo’s 677 Prime and Prime at Saratoga National, other Mazzone Hospitality restaurants which will feature Iowa Premium beef on their menus include Angelo’s Prime Bar & Grill in Clifton Park; Tala Bistro in Latham; and the forthcoming Fish at 30 Lake in Saratoga Springs, which is set to open in June 2016.
