LINCOLNDALE, NY; – UHY Advisors NY today announced that the tax and business consulting firm raised more than $62,000 for the Mariano Rivera Foundation at the second annual UHY Cares Charity Golf Classic, which was held on June 8 at Anglebrook Golf Club in Lincolndale, NY.
Rivera, the legendary Yankees closer and 12-time All-Star, attended the event, which included a round of golf, dinner, and a live auction. The donation to the foundation will assist Rivera in his effort to create community assets including a daycare center, food pantry, and afterschool programming at the Refuge of Hope Church, a century-old historic landmark in New Rochelle, NY.
