Stuyvesant Plaza, the Capital Region’s premier open-air retail destination, will host the grand opening of Kendra Scott, the celebrated lifestyles and accessories brand featuring fashion, demi-fine, fine jewelry and more, from Friday, February 6 through Sunday, February 8.
The weekend’s activities will celebrate the brand’s Valentine’s Day campaign of “So Much More to Love” and incorporate local businesses and artists, while the Kendra Gives Back initiative will feature activities to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area, Farnsworth Middle School and Guilderland Pop Warner Cheer.
“Following a highly successful debut during the holiday shopping season, we are excited to celebrate the grand opening of Kendra Scott in a way that underscore’s the company’s altruistic spirit,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge. “We invite our guests to join us for a weekend of shopping in support of local schools and youth organizations.”
Grand Opening festivities will include:
- Friday, February 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Kendra Scott will donate 20% from sales in support of Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area and their mission to inspire and enable young people to realize their full potential to become productive, caring responsible citizens. Guests who spend $100 or more during the Kendra Gives Back event will receive a free gift with purchase, while supplies last, and can enjoy a complimentary Valentine’s Day card station and sips & sweets from Krause’s Homemade Candy and Cookie Boss while they shop.
- Saturday, February 7 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Kendra Scott will donate 20% from sales to benefit Farnsworth Middle School 8th Grade and their fundraising efforts in support of their students. Customers who spend $100 or more during the Kendra Gives Back event will receive a personalized free gift with purchase, while supplies last, that guests can design with custom calligraphy from Megan Fahy Calligraphy. The event will also feature a DIY Floral Activation from local florist Samantha Nass Floral Design, and complimentary sips & sweets from Jacob and Anthony’s Italian Restaurant and Krause’s Homemade Candy while they shop.
- Sunday, February 8 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Kendra Scott will donate 20% from sales to benefit Guilderland Pop Warner Cheer and their fundraising efforts to support their cheerleaders ranging in age from 3 to 18 years old. Customers who spend $100 or more during the Kendra Gives Back event will receive a personalized free gift with purchase, while supplies last, that guests can design with custom calligraphy from Starry Eyed Letter Co. The event will also feature live illustrations from local artist Jenny C Design, and complimentary sips & sweets from Jacob and Anthony’s Italian Restaurant and Krause’s Homemade Candy while they shop.
