SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced that full-space reservations for some of its most popular group hospitality venues will be available beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8.

Full-space reservations will be accepted for the following locations:

  • Paddock Suite
  • Stella Artois Spa Verandas
  • 1863 Club, including The Rail (Groups of 100 or more); Resorts World Legends Hall; and Luxury Suites
  • Mionetto Easy Goer (Groups of 100 or more)
  • Big Red Spring Tent and Festival Tent

“We’re anticipating another season of strong interest for our popular group venues following last summer’s exciting introduction of the Paddock Suite and the 2021 debut of the Stella Artois Spa Verandas,” said NYRA Vice President of Sales and Hospitality Kevin Quinn. “Each offering provides a unique experience, making it possible for fans to enjoy a casual outing with friends at the Stella Artois Spa Verandas to the more formal setting of the 1863 Club. NYRA remains committed to investing in the future of Saratoga Race Course with state-of-the-art hospitality and dining venues that honor the history and traditions of Saratoga.”

Saratoga’s newest venue, the Paddock Suite, boasts an expansive structure featuring a climate-controlled lounge, bar and balcony overlooking the historic saddling area and is available exclusively to groups of 60-plus. It is located adjacent to Shake Shack and offers panoramic views of the backyard and paddock from within an enclosed lounge above the Post Bar. Group reservations for the Paddock Suite include admission, choice of food platters, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea, tax, gratuity and race programs. Open bar packages can also be purchased.

Quickly having emerged as one of Saratoga’s most popular casual group settings for up to 50 guests, the Stella Artois Spa Verandas features six partially covered seating areas, comfortable lounge furniture, mounted televisions, betting machines and a private bar with unimpeded rail-side viewing of the final turn. Each package includes admission, programs, food and beverages.

Group reservations of 100 or more guests for corporate or casual gatherings will also be available beginning March 8 for The Rail at the 1863 Club — the first-floor banquet space which debuted in 2019. The Rail features floor-to-ceiling windows and offers table seating for nearly 500 guests. Fans have access to a private outdoor area on the apron, the Rail Birds presented by Chandon Garden Spritz, to watch the racing action up close as the thoroughbreds make their way around the Clubhouse turn. Group reservations include buffet lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, admission, programs, tax and gratuity.

Reservations will likewise be accepted for Resorts World Legends Hall, the event space on the second floor of the 1863 Club which accommodates up to 100 guests, in addition to the third-floor Luxury Suites, with capacities ranging from 30 to 45 guests.

For casual outdoor gatherings under cover featuring a buffet lunch paired with Prosecco offerings, fans can enjoy the Mionetto Easy Goer. Set inside the historic Grandstand, this open-air space can accommodate up to 700 guests and will bear the name this summer of Mionetto, internationally renowned for its Prosecco and quality sparkling wines.

Additionally, full-space reservations will be accepted for two of the most popular group gathering spots in the backyard at Saratoga Race Course: The Big Red Spring Tent and the nearby Festival Tent.

Full-space group reservations may be made beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, by phone at 844-NYRA-TIX, email at [email protected] or online at NYRA.com/Saratoga.

Partial spaces can be reserved beginning on Thursday, March 23.

Opening Day for the 2023 summer meet at Saratoga Race Course is Thursday, July 13. Live racing will be conducted five days per week, Wednesdays through Sundays, with the exception of Opening Week and Closing Week which will conclude on Labor Day, Monday, September 4. The 154th edition of the Travers will take place on Saturday, August 26 and the 96th renewal of the Whitney will be run on Saturday, August 5.
