Dunkin’ to Host Donation Drive for Make-A-Wish Central New York

As a continuation of the partnership established at the recent grand reopening celebration of its restaurant at 3000 Vestal Parkway East in Vestal, N.Y., Dunkin’ will host a special one-day donation drive for Make-A-Wish Central New York. Volunteers will be collecting donations from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 3. During the donation drive, the first 50 guests to donate a minimum of $20 will receive a $20 Dunkin’ gift card. Donations can be made in cash or by using a QR code available on-site for electronic donations. Limit of one gift card per person.

Dunkin’ franchisee network Sonraj, Inc. previously donated $3,000 to Make-A-Wish Central New York in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, commemorating the official reopening of its newly remodeled Vestal location on Dec. 1. The donation drive is an extension of their commitment to support the local organization.

“We are happy to take our donation a step further by asking our wonderful guests to participate in the donation drive,” said Dunkin’ Franchisee Mayur Kaneria. “This is our way to help children in need in our community and continue to make wishes come true.”

Make-A-Wish Central New York is a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for critically ill children throughout the central portion of New York State. Founded in 1985, the Central New York chapter is part of a global wish-granting organization focused on creating hope and strength for critically ill children and their families.

“What a joy it is to continue partnering with Dunkin’. They use innovative ways to engage their guests while giving back to the community,” said President and Chief Operating Officer of Make-A-Wish Central New York Diane Kupperman. “This donation drive will help us say ‘YES’ to the 26 Southern Tier kids currently waiting for wishes. It’s true, wishes run on Dunkin’!”
