DUNKIN’ DONUTS ANNOUNCES RETURN OF “ICED COFFEE DAY” TO MOHAWK VALLEY

$1 from every cup of Iced Coffee sold on May 24 to benefit Food Bank of Central New York

UTICA, New York; – Dunkin’ Donuts is inviting residents of the Mohawk Valley to get ready for summer with the return of “Iced Coffee Day.” On Wednesday, May 24, $1 from every cup of Iced Coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Utica and the Mohawk Valley will directly benefit Food Bank of Central New York.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is thrilled to celebrate the return of Iced Coffee Day to the Mohawk Valley,” said Dunkin’ Donuts Field Marketing Manager Eric Stensland.  “We are excited to continue our support of Food Bank of Central New York during our upcoming Iced Coffee Day on May 24. I encourage Mohawk Valley residents to cool down with a Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee while also supporting this great organization.”

 Food Bank of Central New York serves as the main food distribution hub for hundreds of partner agencies that comprise the emergency food network in an 11 county service region across central and northern New York. The Food Bank provides more than 15.2 million pounds of food – the equivalent of 12.6 million meals – to hungry families, children, and elderly every year.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts on Iced Coffee Day,” said Food Bank of Central New York Executive Director Kathleen Stress. “Funds raised on Iced Coffee Day will allow us to provide nutritious food to our partner agencies in Central and Northern New York. For every dollar raised during the event, we will be able to acquire and distribute enough food for three meals. As we head into the summer months, those meals will help ensure low-income families are able to provide nutritious food to their children home from school.”
