Donation is the result of annual Iced Coffee Day campaign

ALBANY, NY; – Dunkin’ today celebrated the results of its recent Iced Coffee Day campaign with a donation of approximately $32,000 to the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med.

During the one-day event on May 22, Dunkin’ franchisees donated $1 from every cup of Iced Coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in the Capital Region to the children’s hospital.

“Dunkin’ is thrilled to continue to support the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med through our annual Iced Coffee Day program. This donation is a direct reflection of the community support engendered by the children’s hospital, which is so vital to children and families in need,” said Dunkin’ Integrated Marketing Manager Eric Stensland. “I would like to thank all of our guests who joined us on Iced Coffee Day to help raise funds for the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med.”

Since its inception in 2012, Iced Coffee Day has now generated more than $245,000 for the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med. In addition, the Dunkin’s Joy in Childhood Foundation previously granted $20,000 to support the hospital’s Child Life Program.

“Our team of medical specialists depends on the generosity of community partners so they can continue delivering the highest quality care to the children of our region,” said Barbara Ostrov, M.D., director of the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med.  “We thank Dunkin’ for its years of dedicated support to our patients and their families.”
