ROCHESTER, New York;  Dunkin’ today announced the results of its recent Iced Coffee Day campaign with a donation of $15,015 to Foodlink.

The donation is the result of the Dunkin’® Iced Coffee Day fundraising campaign, which took place on May 26. During the one-day charitable event, participating Dunkin’ franchisees in Western New York donated one dollar for every Iced Coffee sold to Foodlink.

“We are excited to announce the results of our Iced Coffee Day campaign and contribute to the tremendous efforts of Foodlink. Dunkin’ is thrilled to be supporting this organization, which is so vital to families in need in our community,” said Dunkin’ Field Marketing Manager Eric Stensland. “I would like to thank all of our guests who joined us on Iced Coffee Day to help raise these important funds for Foodlink.”

The Iced Coffee Day campaign donation comes at an important time for Foodlink, which has been working since the beginning of the pandemic to meet the increased demand for emergency food assistance throughout its service area.

“We were thrilled to celebrate the return of Iced Coffee Day to the Rochester area, and are so grateful to our partners at Dunkin’ for their generosity,” said Julia Tedesco, President & CEO of Foodlink. “Of course, Iced Coffee Day wouldn’t happen without the thousands of customers who contributed to its success. From all of us at Foodlink, thank you to everyone who came out to support our mission of ending hunger and building healthier communities.”

A Feeding America study showed food insecurity has risen 25 percent in Foodlink’s 10-county service area due to the economic impact of COVID-19. Foodlink has spent the past several months mobilizing its community partners to meet this elevated need through increased food distribution efforts, and innovative approaches to delivering meals to school-aged children.
