DUNKIN’ BRINGS NEXT GENERATION STORE TO STUDENTS AND RESIDENTS ACROSS FROM UALBANY CAMPUS

Residents and students near UAlbany can now enjoy Dunkin’s next generation store design at 1425 Washington Ave. in Albany, N.Y. In celebration of the restaurant’s grand reopening, guests can enjoy free giveaways, including a limited number of $20 Dunkin’ Cards and Dunkin’ merchandise on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to noon, or while supplies last. The celebration will also include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. featuring representatives from Dunkin’ franchisee Westside Donuts and University at Albany Athletic Director Mark Benson.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Dunkin’s next generation store initiative and are excited to unveil this innovative new restaurant just across from the University at Albany’s main campus,” said Dunkin’ franchisee Howard Novick. “The new menu offerings and approachable atmosphere will grab the attention of Dunkin’ fans and help keep the university community running on Dunkin’ for years to come.”

The 2,160 square-foot newly remodeled Dunkin’ employs 22 crew members and features Dunkin’s new restaurant design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:

  • Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
  • Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
  • Dunkin’ on Demand: Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups, so that members of the Dunkin’ Rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before.
  • Increased Energy Efficiency: The new Dunkin’ is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.
