Dunkin’ brings next generation store to Corona

Residents who live and work in Corona can now experience Dunkin’s next generation store design following the grand opening of its newly built restaurant at 108-68 Roosevelt Ave. in Queens on Wednesday, May 1.

To celebrate the grand opening, Dunkin’ offered Free Coffee for a Year to the first 100 guests in line beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1*. Free Coffee for a Year giveaway recipients received a coupon book containing four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months, good only at the Dunkin’ at 108-68 Roosevelt Ave. in Queens.

Dunkin’ franchise network Legacy QSR, LLC commemorated the occasion with a $3,000 donation to No Kid Hungry New York in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. No Kid Hungry New York partners with schools, community-based organizations and government agencies to launch and enhance programs providing healthy meals and expanding access to nutritious food.

“We are excited to unveil our new restaurant design to the Corona community,” said Dunkin’ franchisee Joumana Lollobrigida. “Additionally, we are proud to support No Kid Hungry with this $3,000 donation in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation to underscore the importance of an organization that provides healthy and nutritious food to children in need in New York.”

The check presentation to No Kid Hungry and grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 11 a.m. Dunkin’ Rewards members, and those who signed up for Dunkin’ Rewards, had the opportunity to spin a Dunkin’ prize wheel to receive complimentary merchandise, including Dunkin’ mugs, sunglasses, magnets and cinch bags.

The 1,800-square-foot Dunkin’ features the brand’s new restaurant design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:

  • Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
  • Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now available through an innovative tap system serving four consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
  • Dunkin’ on Demand: Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups, so that members of the Dunkin’ Rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before.
