ADIRONDACK THUNDER INVITE FANS TO COUNTRY NIGHT

The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, is bringing the country to the city of Glens Falls on Saturday, Feb. 17.

ECHL North Division-leading Adirondack will face Trois-Rivières Lions (Montreal Canadiens) in special flannel-and-jeans-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off on the DASH app after the game. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the puck drops at 7 p.m.

“We are having a ton of fun with our fans this season and this is another opportunity for everyone to enjoy a night together at the ole hockey barn,” said Adirondack Thunder President Jeff Mead.

Saturday’s game caps a back-to-back weekend homestand for the Thunder – Adirondack plays the Reading Royals (Philadelphia Flyers) at Cool Insuring Arena on Friday at 7 p.m. – as the team has seen a surge in home attendance including seven sellouts this season. Adirondack rocketed to the top of the ECHL North with a 30-11-4-2 record (66 points) thanks to a franchise-record 12-game win streak which turned into a 17-game point streak that started in late December and ran through late January.

“This is a team of very special players who have a tight bond. They feed off the energy that the crowd is bringing every night, so tickets are in high demand right now,” Mead said. “This town is really getting behind the team.”

Fans can enjoy $3 Labatt Blue Light beer specials on Friday and $4 Bud Light beer specials during Saturday’s game presented by Saratoga Eagle.

Fans are also reminded that the Adirondack Hockey Hall of Fame will host its induction ceremony prior to the Thunder’s Feb. 24 game versus Reading.
