Dunkin’ celebrates grand opening with largescale donation to The OM foundation

Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly built next generation restaurant at 15-25 College Point Boulevard in the Queens neighborhood of College Point on Thursday, October 29, as part of its grand opening ceremony.

Dunkin’ franchisee Jain Network commemorated the occasion with a $10,000 donation to The OM Foundation. Founded in 2010 by Dr. Sanjay Goyal, The OM Foundation aims to treat diabetes and help provide quality of life services for patients and their families.

New York State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky and New York State Assemblyman Sam Berger joined the celebration and participated in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.

All guests between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. received a free medium Dunkin’ Refresher for 30 days, while others spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise and enjoyed a complimentary Dunkin’ photobooth.

The newly built, 1,500 square-foot Dunkin’ employs 12 crew members and is open daily from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
