Residents who live and work in Essex County can now experience Dunkin’s next generation store design at 160 University Ave. in downtown Newark.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 Dunkin’ Rewards members 18 years or older in line at the Newark Dunkin’ beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, will receive 30 Days of Free Dunkin’ Refreshers. Qualifying guests must be a Dunkin’ Rewards member or sign up on the day of the event to receive a free medium Dunkin’ Refresher for 30 days on the Dunkin’ App.*
All guests are invited to spin a prize wheel to win Dunkin’ merchandise, while supplies last. A ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries will take place at 10:30 a.m.
To commemorate the occasion, Dunkin’ Franchisee Paul Narula of Narula Network will make a $1,000 donation to the Pierre Toussaint Food Pantry of St. Mary’s Church. Pierre Toussaint Food Pantry has been serving those in need in Newark for nearly a quarter century.
The newly built, 1,100 square-foot Dunkin’ employs five crew members and is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday. The Newark restaurant features Dunkin’s next generation design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:
- Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
- Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system featuring eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
