STUYVESANT PLAZA BRINGS ABERCROMBIE & FITCH BACK TO THE CAPITAL REGION

Stuyvesant Plaza, the Capital Region’s premier open-air retail destination, will welcome the much-anticipated return of Abercrombie & Fitch to the Capital Region in 2027. The iconic American lifestyle brand – renowned for its effortless, high-quality pieces crafted for every occasion – will be located on the Plaza’s south side. The addition will also mark the debut of abercrombie kids.

Abercrombie & Fitch has spent over a century perfecting the art of effortless style. Today, the brand offers quality, trend-forward apparel, accessories and fragrance for men and women; pieces that capture the effortless, elevated lifestyle brand it is today. Abercrombie kids extends that same commitment to quality to babies, toddlers and young children, delivering age-appropriate fashion that doesn’t compromise on style.

“Our guests have always been our greatest guide when it comes to curating the Stuyvesant Plaza experience, and Abercrombie & Fitch has been at the top of their wish list,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge. “We listened, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome this iconic brand back to the Capital Region. And the addition of abercrombie kids making its debut here – that’s something truly special for our community.”

Coinciding with the announcement of Abercrombie & Fitch’s arrival, 5th Corner Goods has relocated across the Plaza adjacent to Bountiful Bread. The local, women-owned business originally arrived as a pop-up shop in October 2023 and will extend its stay at Stuyvesant Plaza through the 2026 holiday season.

When Abercrombie & Fitch opens in 2027, it will join a growing roster of new-to-market national retailers at Stuyvesant Plaza, including Anthropologie, Kendra Scott, Rowan, FP Movement, vineyard vines and Madewell – brands that chose Stuyvesant Plaza as their Capital Region home
