Plan ahead for the Big Game, a romantic Valentine’s Day or memorable Galentine’s Day at home with take-away menus of unrivaled excellence, courtesy of Cardona’s Market. The family-owned, Italian specialty grocery and caterer is celebrating the Big Game in a big way on Sunday, Feb. 8, and Cupid’s favorite day less than one week later, on Saturday, Feb. 14.
A Super-Sized catering menu for the Big Game will feature: Pre-Game pack of assorted subs and sides; Winning Snack Pack of meatballs and sides; Game Time pack of cold cuts and sides; Touchdown Time pack of specialty chicken cutlet, eggplant cutlet and veggie subs, salads, sides and dessert platter; Build-Your-Own (BYO) Meatball/Sausage Parmigiana sub pack; Specialty Chicken Cutlet Sub pack; and Specialty Vegetarian Sub Pack. Each package serves eight to 10 people.
On Valentine’s Day, Cardona’s invites its guests to enjoy a Surf and Turf Dinner for Two, including Braised Short Ribs; Homemade Crab Cakes with Roasted Red Pepper Remoulade; Creamy Polenta; Roasted Green Beans; Nuts and Berries Salad; Petite Chocolate Espresso Torte; Petite Red Velvet Torte; and Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries with Fresh Whipped Cream. Enjoy fine dining at home this year for the all-inclusive price of $115.
New for this year, Cardona’s is also offering two Date Night baskets with ready-to-prepare ingredients for $39.99 each to make any occasion something special. Cardona’s new date night baskets are available for pre-order for Valentine’s Day weekend.
The Pasta Date Night basket includes Cardona’s Vodka Sauce; Riscossa Spaghetti Pasta; Parmesan Cheese; Boar’s Head Pepperoni Stick; Taralli Crackers; Cardona’s Italian Seasoning; Crushed Red Pepper; and a pair of sweet treats.
The Pizza Date Night basket includes Cardona’s Pizza Sauce and Nino’s Pizza Dough; Boar’s Head Pepperoni Stick; Shredded Mozzarella; Fresh-Grated Parmesan; Crushed Red Pepper; Homemade Garlic Spread; Cardona’s Italian Seasoning; and a pair of sweet treats.
Also new for 2026, Cardona’s is offering a special ‘Galentine’s Day’ package, which includes an Antipasti Platter; Shrimp Cocktail Platter; Nuts and Berries Salad; and a small Dessert Platter for $155. Serves four to six people.

- Game Time Pack ($215) – American cold cut platter; 10 hard rolls; one-half tray fried mozzarella with marinara; arancini with marinara; and shrimp cocktail;
- Touchdown Time ($375) – Specialty chicken cutlet sub platter; specialty eggplant cutlet sub platter; specialty veggie sub platter; one-half tray of tomato mozzarella salad; one-half tray of tortellini salad; one-half tray of Cardona’s Famous Meatballs; and a specialty dessert platter;

Pre-orders for the big game must be reserved prior to noon on Saturday, Feb. 7 and pre-orders for Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day must be reserved by 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12.
Cardona’s Market is located at 340 Delaware Avenue in Albany; 9 Cobbee Road in Latham; and 222 Washington Street in Saratoga Springs. The Albany and Latham markets are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the Saratoga market is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. All three locations are open on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
