Dunkin’ restaurant in Jersey City celebrates grand reopening with donation to Beth-El Seventh Day Adventist Church Food Pantry

Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 511 West Side Ave. in Jersey City on Wednesday, October 15 as part of its grand reopening celebration.

Dunkin’ franchisee Nick DeMarco of The DeMarco Network commemorated the occasion with a $3,000 donation to the Beth-El Seventh Day Adventist Church Food Pantry, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Located in Jersey City, the Beth-El Seventh Day Adventist Church Food Pantry provides aid to those in need within the local community.

“Many thanks to Nick DeMarco and the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation for the $3,000 donation to Beth-El Seventh Day Adventist Church Food Pantry,” said Beth-El Seventh Day Adventist Church staff member Catherine Laurie. “Nick has been a long-time contributor with us in our effort to help people in need. We prayerfully wish him much success in all future endeavors.”

The morning featured the first 100 people in line at 9 a.m. receiving a free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 days, while others spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise, and enjoyed a complimentary Dunkin’ photobooth.

Jersey City Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Mira Prinz-Arey; members of the Jersey City Police Department’s West Precinct; and representatives from the office of New Jersey State Senator Angela McKnight joined the celebration and participated in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The newly remodeled, 1,500 square-foot Dunkin’ employs 12 crew members and is open daily from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.
