The Wesley Community appoints new board member

The Wesley Community today announced that Ellen Brodie has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Brodie is a commercial loan officer at Adirondack Trust Company, where she has worked since 2015 to help businesses secure funding so they can expand and prosper. Prior to that, she worked for M&T Bank in Albany, specializing in small business lending before transitioning to healthcare and not-for-profit lending.

She has been actively involved in the community for more than a decade, previously serving on the boards of the Saratoga Center for Family from 2015 to 2024 and the Senior Citizens Center of Saratoga from 2018 to 2020.

Brodie is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Saratoga and volunteers on charitable committees, attends community events and has been serving on the Saratoga Special Assessments District Board since 2023. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Buffalo State College.

I look forward to contributing to find innovative ways to strengthen Wesley’s financial profile so we may further our mission of providing dignified, compassionate care to our residents and clients,” said Brodie.
