Flex ticket package provides ability to customize tournament experience when event returns to Times Union Center in Albany, NY, March 1-5
ALBANY, NY– Flex ticket packages to the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will go on sale Monday, January 8.
The popular basketball tournament, featuring Canisius, Fairfield, Iona, Manhattan, Marist, Monmouth, Niagara, Quinnipiac, Rider, Siena and St. Peter’s, will return to the Times Union Center in Albany, NY, on March 1-5.
Flex ticket packages include four tickets redeemable for any open seat during any session of the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, including both championship games. The tickets may be utilized for four seats to one session, one seat for four sessions, or any ensuing combination to enable fans to tailor the tournament experience to meet their needs.
“The flex ticket packages allow ticketholders to customize and personalize their MAAC Basketball Championships experience,” said MAAC Commissioner Richard Ensor. “Fans have the option of using the tickets for a single game or may spread them out over multiple rounds to follow their team or see certain matchups throughout the entire tournament.”
“The flex ticket package is an outstanding way for basketball fans to experience the MAAC tournament in the way which best suits them,” said Times Union Center General Manager Bob Belber. “We look forward to once again hosting the MAAC Basketball Championships, and encourage fans to take advantage of the flexibility and various incentives that these special ticket packages afford.”
Two sets of flex ticket packages, each comprised of four tickets, are available for this year’s tournament. The first package provides access to any open seat in the center sections during any session for $150. The second package provides access to any open seat in the lower level corners and end zones for $100.

All-session passes are also available for fans seeking admission to additional games in the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. All-session passes, which grant access to all games of the men’s and women’s tournament, are $97, $122, $167 and $227.
