Dunkin’ restaurant in South Richmond Hill commemorates grand reopening with donation to The Harding Ford Vision, Inc.

Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 121-17 Liberty Ave. in the Queens neighborhood of South Richmond Hill on Friday, April 25 as part of its grand reopening celebration.

Dunkin’ franchisee Nishi Patel of The Laxmandav Group commemorated the occasion with a $3,000 donation to the Harding Ford Vision, Inc., in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The Harding Ford Vision, Inc. distributes food and provides other important services primarily to individuals in the South Jamaica community.

“The Harding Ford Vision, Inc. would like to express its utmost appreciation to Nishi Patel and the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation for their generous donation,” said The Harding Ford Vision, Inc. Executive Director LaNeda Mondesir. “Our food pantry has provided food, clothing, diapers and other essentials for over 25 years to the local Jamaica, Queens community and continues to ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors have what they need. Thanks to donations such as this, we continue to work hard to connect people with food and to end hunger within our community.”

New York State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr.; representatives from the office of New York State Assemblyman David Weprin; representatives from the office of New York City Councilwoman Lynn Schulman; and members of the New York Police Department’s 106th Precinct joined the celebration and participated in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The morning featured the first 100 Dunkin’ Rewards members in line at 9 a.m. receiving one free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 consecutive days on the Dunkin’ App, while others spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.

The newly remodeled 1,700 square-foot Dunkin’ employs 14 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m.
