Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin and Jimmy Johns’ newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 20 Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus on Friday, May 2, as part of its grand reopening celebration. The Secaucus Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s combination store is the first of its kind to open in the state of New Jersey.
Dunkin’ franchisee Santarelli Enterprises, LLC commemorated the occasion with a $3,000 donation to the Secaucus Emergency Food Pantry, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Managed by the Town of Secaucus Department of Social Services, the Secaucus Emergency Food Pantry supplies food and other items as necessary to qualified individuals in Secaucus.
Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli; Members of the Secaucus Town Council and Town Administration; Representatives from the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce; Representatives from the Secaucus Police Department; and representatives on behalf of New York State Senator Brian Stack joined the celebration and participated in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The morning featured the first 100 Dunkin’ Rewards members in line at 9 a.m. receiving one free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 consecutive days on the Dunkin’ App, while others spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise and enjoyed a complimentary Dunkin’ photobooth.
The newly built 2,500 square-foot Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s employs 12 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m.
