Residents who live and work in Suffolk County can now experience Dunkin’s next generation store design at 529 East Main Street in the hamlet of Bay Shore within the town of Islip.
To celebrate the grand reopening on Wednesday, October 28, all guests will receive a free medium hot or iced coffee and donut from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. exclusively at the Bay Shore Dunkin’ located at 529 East Main Street.*
Additionally, guests can celebrate the grand reopening with a single scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream for just 31 cents, in honor of the brand’s 31 flavors, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.**
All in attendance can also spin a prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise, while supplies last.
Dunkin’ franchisee Metro Franchising will commemorate the occasion with a $3,000 donation to The Viscardi Center in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The Viscardi Center is a non-profit organization that educates, employs, and empowers children, adults, and veterans with disabilities or similar needs, so they can discover the love of learning, the power of work, the freedom of independent living, and the self-confidence to fulfill their dreams.
A check presentation and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m.
The newly remodeled, 2,100 square-foot Bay Shore Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins employs 20 crew members and is open 24 hours daily, seven days per week. The Bay Shore restaurant features Dunkin’s next generation design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:
- Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
- Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system featuring eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
- Increased Energy Efficiency: The new Dunkin’ is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.
