Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 4108 Tonnelle Ave. in North Bergen on Friday, January 23, as part of its grand reopening celebration.
Dunkin’ franchisee AUM Donut, LLC commemorated the occasion with a $3,000 donation to the Nicholas J. Sacco Foundation, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Named in honor of the current mayor of North Bergen, the Nicholas J. Sacco Foundation provides community support through charitable donations and offers food services to children and families, among other important initiatives in the town of North Bergen.
The event featured the first 100 people in line at 9 a.m. receiving a free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 days, while others spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.
North Bergen Mayor Nicholas J. Sacco, representatives from the Town of North Bergen and members of the North Bergen Police Department joined the celebration and participated in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The newly remodeled, 2,600 square-foot Dunkin’ employs 10 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. to midnight.
