DUNKIN’ DONUTS AND CAPITAL REGION LAW ENFORCEMENT JOIN FORCES FOR “COPS ON TOP” TO BENEFIT SPECIAL OLYMPICS NEW YORK: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9

ALBANY, NY; – Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, today announced it will team up with local law enforcement officers for “Cops on Top” to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics New York with a rooftop sit-in at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the Capital Region.

On Friday, October 9, Capital Region law enforcement officers will take to the roofs of several Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants from 7 to 11 a.m. Dunkin’ Donuts guests are invited to attend the sit-in to support the officers, meet Special Olympics athletes, and make donations to Special Olympics New York.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is honored to host local law enforcement officers to benefit Special Olympics New York through this unique event,” said Dunkin’ Donuts Field Marketing Manager Eric Stensland. “I encourage our guests to join us to support Special Olympics New York and its mission to provide training and athletic competition to children and adults with developmental disabilities.”

“Cops on Top” locations include the following Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants: 1425 Washington Ave, Albany; 92 Saratoga St, Cohoes; 448 Broadway, Rensselaer; 2060 Western Ave, Guilderland; 1003 Troy Schenectady Rd, Latham; 650 Troy Schenectady Rd , Latham; 509 State Route 67, Malta; 194 Church Ave , Ballston Spa; 135 W Campbell Rd , Rotterdam; 1900 Curry Road, Schenectady.

Dunkin’ Donuts guests who contribute to Special Olympics New York will receive a coupon for a medium hot Dark Roast coffee with a $5 donation; a “Cops on Top” T-shirt with a $20 donation; a pound of Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend ground coffee with a $50 donation; or two pounds of Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend ground coffee with a $100 donation.
