Clifton Park, NY; – Dunkin’ today hosted a packing party for U.S. Marine Corps Reserve volunteers just days before the Convoy of Hope, a component of the Capital Region Toys for Tots campaign, hits the roadway for its run to deliver holiday toys to children and families in need across upstate New York on Sunday, December 1.

Dunkin’ franchisees supported the volunteers today with complimentary coffee, baked goods and the new Beyond Sausage® Sandwiches while helping to sort thousands of toys and loading the gifts onto vehicles ahead of the annual holiday convoy this weekend.

Since 2009, the annual Capital Region Toys for Tots holiday campaign has been bolstered by the support of Dunkin’, which has donated $320,000 to the program over the past 11 years.

We commend the Marines, local law enforcement and all others involved for their dedication to this important holiday tradition,” said Eric Stensland, integrated marketing manager for Dunkin’. “We are happy to be a part of this extraordinary effort that has such a vital impact on families in our community.”
